Staying safe
Meet in a public place for the first date — Avoid private residences.
Tell a friend or family member where you're going, who you're meeting, and when to expect you back.
Get yourself there and back. Don't rely on your date for a ride home the first time.
Trust your instincts. You're never obligated to stay or explain yourself if something feels off.

Blind Date Database is built on a simple idea: Technlogy is a tool that should make dating easier not more complicated and frustrating. The aim is to quickly put people in contact with others wanting to date and leave the rest for them to decided.
This is an automated service that uses technology as a tool to make in-person connection easier, not to replace it. You submit, you're instantly paired with someone of the opposite gender in our database, and you both get each other's contact info. From that point on it's entirely up to you.
Right now the service is focused on the Rexburg / BYU-I area. The goal is to make it easy and low-stakes to meet someone new in person.
Feel free to submit as many times as you like. If your match didn't respond, just submit again — you'll be paired with someone new.
The application form includes an option to add yourself to the pool for future matches. If you're comfortable doing so, it helps keep the service running — new submissions are always matched to someone already in the pool to ensure instant results.
Your information can be permanently deleted at any time, no questions asked. Just send a deletion request to our email, or reply to any match notification email to be removed.
If someone doesn't respond, they may simply no longer be looking to date. Don't read into it — just submit again and you'll be matched with someone else.

Blind Date Database is a free introductory service. We pair submitters with someone of the opposite gender from our database and share contact information between both parties. We do not screen for compatibility and make no guarantees about outcomes.
User conduct
You agree to interact with your pairing honestly and respectfully. You accept sole responsibility for your conduct during and after any meeting facilitated through this Service.
Safety
Blind Date Database is not responsible for any harm or damages arising from interactions between paired individuals.
Limitation of liability
The Service is provided as-is. Blind Date Database shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service.
Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
What we collect
We collect information you provide through the application form, including your name and contact information, as well as any other details you choose to provide relevant to pairing.
How we use it
Your information is used solely to pair you with another person in our database. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
Who sees it
Only the administrator(s) of Blind Date Database review submission data. Your contact information is shared only with the person you are paired with.
Data storage
Submission data is stored in a private, access-controlled database. We take reasonable measures to protect this data.
Data retention & deletion
You may request permanent deletion of your data at any time by emailing blinddatedatabase@gmail.com or replying to any match notification email.
Your rights
You have the right to request correction or deletion of your personal data at any time.
